Consistió en la exposición fotográfica “Organic vs. Plastic Degradation”, una mesa redonda en la que profesionales con perfiles muy distintos debatieron sobre el uso excesivo del plástico, una merienda con productos imperfectos y una tercera publicación. Tuvo lugar en Pasaje Montoya. Gracias a todos por asistir, porque ya formáis parte de la iniciativa. “ La perfección sobre la naturaleza. La juventud sobre la experiencia. La turgencia sobre la sabiduría. El miedo al paso del tiempo. La negación del proceso natural. Tenemos una piel que se arruga. Inventamos otra indestructible. Plastificamos la belleza. Sin saber. Imperfecta Belleza No.2 abre el debate sobre los cánones estéticos convencionales, plantea si existe la belleza en la “supuesta” imperfección y cuestiona por qué lo denominamos “imperfección”. Entendiendo “La Piel” como hilo conductor, ésta se convierte en el lienzo en el que plasmar todas las historias. La exposición fotográfica establece el diálogo entre pieles imperfectas, muestra su belleza de forma cruda y pone en valor sus mal llamados errores, porque las hacen únicas.&nbsp; “La piel es nuestro mayor órgano, el tejido que nos refugia y nuestro medio de comunicación más potente, porque lo cuenta todo, sin decir nada. Como una máquina capaz de registrar el tiempo, la piel se marca a medida que avanzamos y se encarga de relatarlo. Varía con el calor, el frío y el viento. Anota cada vez que nos hemos caído, herido y curado. Cada victoria deja un surco en la tierra. Cada arruga recuerda lo mucho que nos hemos reído. Cada mancha dice que hemos madurado al sol. Una zanahoria deforme se desecha porque no tiene la apariencia que se espera de ella. Un calabacín con un golpe se descarta, aunque su sabor está intacto. Una cantidad indecente de comida se tira por criterios estéticos. ¿Puede producirse en serie algo natural? ¿Debe considerarse un error o un antídoto a la belleza convencional y aburrida? Francia es el primer país del mundo que ha prohibido tirar o destruir la comida. A raíz de esta noticia, descubrimos una verdad vergonzosa: se calcula que un tercio de la comida que se produce se tira. También se estima que con la mitad de la comida que se tira se alimentaría a todas las personas que pasan hambre en el mundo. Se tira comida en todos los&nbsp;pasos de la cadena, desde el huerto hasta los hogares, y por muchos motivos. Sin embargo, el más llamativo es: por criterios estéticos. Existen cánones de belleza que determinan si las piezas son aptas para el consumo. En la fase final incluso se “maquilla” cada unidad para lograr el aspecto deseado. Tuvo lugar en Sauvage Estudio Floral de la mano de la chef Nerea Hoyos.
